District Partnership Agreements

  • District Partnership Agreements between an LEA and a courseware provider do not fall under MOCAP guidelines.  In these cases, the LEA is responsible for course alignment to standards and educator certification, per 162.1250 RSMo.

  • District Partnership Agreements do not require progress reporting from vendors, as long as a contract is in place between the LEA and the courseware provider.
  • The LEA is responsible for reporting its own student data.

  • MOCAP courseware providers only submit data to verify enrollments.

  • District Partnership Agreements do not fall under the MOCAP rules for MOCAP reporting, price caps, and appeals in Section 161.670, RSMo.

  • Attendance hours for any educator without a valid teaching certificate will be disallowed for state aid payment purposes.

  • In no case shall more than the full-time equivalency of a regular term of attendance for a single student be used to claim state aid. Section 161.670, RSMo.

  • Local school districts and charter schools will connect directly with vendors to enroll students in MOCAP courses.

Parent or Private Pay Students:

  • Home-school students, private school students, or students taking more than full time courses should work with their local school district to ensure the credit will be accepted.
