The Missouri Virtual Instruction Program (MoVIP) is required to test students in both End-of-Course (EOC) Assessments and Grade-Level Assessments (GLA) testing to gauge student progress and ensure that students are learning the necessary material to advance toward graduation.  In order to ensure that students feel comfortable with the testing process and understand how testing works, MoVIP has provided links to practice tests for both the EOC and GLA tests.

The district of residence will allow the test in their school.  For homebound students who are unable to leave home, MoVIP provides a proctor.  All students who qualified as medically fragile must have transportation to the testing site which is agreed upon in the contract.

Required 2018 spring assessments:

Grade-Level Assessment:

All students in grades 3-8 will take the grade level assessment. English Language Arts and Mathematics are administered in all grades. Science is administered in grades 5 and 8.

GLA tutorials may be accessed at https://wbte.drcedirect.com/MO/portals/mo.  You must use Google Chrome as your web browser.  Click on the yellow text at the bottom for tutorials.  The Grade-Level Assessments also offer Online Tools Trainings (OTTs).  Click on the link above and go to the Practice Forms OTT link on the left side of the page.  After you select the content and grade level, the logins will appear on the screen.

End-of-Course Assessment:

Prior to high school graduation, students must take the End-of-Course assessments in Algebra I, English II, Biology, and Government. For students who complete the Algebra I EOC assessment prior to high school, Algebra II is the required high school mathematics assessment for accountability purposes.

EOC practice tests may be accessed at https://dese.mo.gov/college-career-readiness/assessment/end-course.  Click on the tab titled “Pre-Tests.”  Answer keys/scoring rubrics are on the last page.
